Organic Tomato Sauce

½ cup fresh Tomatoes

1/8 cup Onion

¼ cup Dried Tomatoes 

¼ tsp Garlic

¼ tsp Jalapeno 

2 Medjool dates, pitted

1 Tbs olive oil (as needed)

½ tsp Himalayan Crystal Salt

 

Method

Chop tomatoes and onion, then mince the garlic and jalapenos, add all ingredients into a high power blender, and blend until smooth.  You may need to add more olive oil, if it the sauce is too thick.   Taste and adjust the flavour if needed.  

Will last for approximately 2 days in the refrigerator.  Roughly yields 1 ¼ cup of sauce.
